Since their founding, She She Pop have concerned themselves with the depiction of their own identity and biography. In Drawers, the performers come into contact with their East German counterparts and re-experience German reunification. The result is a polyphonic and highly subjective chronicle of East-West German history, one that both conforms to and rejects the prevailing worldview, asking in the process: Who were we? Who are we? And how exactly did we come to be this way?
