Gob Squad: Framing Reality
Performance collective Gob Squad return to Basel with a one-week intensive workshop that offers younger theatre-makers the opportunity to learn their methods. Equipped with a wooden frame on wheels and a mobile sound system, workshop participants will take to the streets with Gob Squad and learn how the reality of public space can be transformed into the site for snapshots, storytelling, and theatrical scenes. In ever-changing groupings and constellations, participants will develop small-scale forms of storytelling and intervention that incorporate video, text, movement, and sound.
